GSA was created by Malcolm Guy and Peter Shattock in 1999. Malcolm and Peter, came from a local authority building control background with 35 years combined building control experience. The Company successfully applied for a Corporate Approved Inspector licence in 2000.
GSA now employs a professional team which has provided services in respect of several thousand building projects ranging from multi million pound “new build” schemes to small scale fit out works.
Although Approved Inspector services are mainly provided on projects in the South East of England, GSA is licensed to provide these services throughout England and Wales and is happy to get involved in projects outside the South East.
To supplement the Approved Inspector service GSA also offers Fire Risk Assessment and Building Regulation advice and consultancy services.
Client surveys continue to show that both the design and delivery of GSA’s services fit very well with their needs.
The Company operates an ISO 9001 quality management system which is independently audited and carries appropriate professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
